About ILAM



The Iberian Landscape Architecture Memory (ILAM) is a bilingual platform dedicated to the documentary memory of landscape architecture in Portugal and Spain. Records remain in their holding institutions, but become accessible through a shared infrastructure based on international archival standards.

This pilot project was developed by Maria João Fonseca (HTC-CFE, NOVA-Lisboa) during a 5-month research stay hosted by Laura Jecske (Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, Madrid), under the FCT Mobility Grant (FCT/Mobility/1369320431/2024–2025), funded by the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology.
